Your Role:
We are looking for a Spatial UX Designer / Experience Designer who focuses on how customers experience and use our physical retail spaces. You will analyze and optimize the customer journey within the space, develop intuitive wayfinding systems, and design interactive elements to create a seamless, positive, and engaging brand experience. With us, you can strategically shape the interaction between people and the brand in the physical space and make brand values tangible.
Your Responsibilities in Detail:
- You analyze the customer journey and user guidance within our physical retail spaces and identify potential for optimization.
- You develop and implement strategies to improve the physical user experience and design intuitive interactions within the space.
- You conceive and design innovative orientation systems as well as digital and analog interactive elements or installations for brand activation.
- You apply insights from retail psychology, behavioral analysis, and user research to develop customer-centric spatial solutions.
- You create personas, user flows, and experience maps specifically for physical environments.
- You collaborate closely with strategists, concept designers, and digital teams to ensure seamless and cross-channel brand experiences.
- You define metrics and methods for measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of spatial UX measures.
What You Bring:
- A strong sense for customer guidance, intuitive navigation, and the physical user experience within a space.
- Know-how in strategic spatial planning to optimize customer flows and interaction points.
- Experience in designing and implementing interactive, experience-oriented retail environments.
- Experience in analyzing and applying insights from retail psychology and consumer behavior.
- Knowledge of Service Design or UX Design methods (e.g., personas, journey mapping) and their application to physical spaces.
- Proficiency with relevant 3D visualization software (e.g., Rhino, Blender) and spatial conception tools.
- A degree or vocational training in Retail Design, Service Design, UX Design, Architecture (with a focus on user guidance), Behavioral Psychology, or a comparable discipline.
- Several years of professional experience in developing and implementing interactive, experience-oriented retail or brand environments.
