Idea
A communication hub instead of a conference room
With SALON39, Designplus creates exactly this kind of space for clients, partners, and thought leaders. Under the theme "COURAGE," the 2025 edition explores the social, digital, and physical spaces that the future demands. Moving away from rigid, traditional conference structures, the concept breaks with conventional patterns to establish a vibrant, festival-style hub for communication. The venue becomes an immersive source of inspiration, bringing together stakeholders from retail, business, and design to actively shape the discourse on sustainable change.
Concept
Open Space as the common thread of the customer journey
The design concept is based on a temporary transformation of the office space into an open-plan environment. While keynotes and panel discussions take center stage on the main platform, separate masterclasses and interactive activation zones—such as note walls and text boxes—are intuitively integrated along the customer journey. This vibrant, lively setup creates a seamless flow between the outdoor hospitality areas and the interior spaces, purposefully guiding the dialogue throughout the venue.
Realisation
Circular principles instead of new resources
The implementation follows a consistently circular approach: furniture, stools, and bar elements from previous client projects are reused in the interest of sustainability. By closely interweaving existing architecture with temporary elements, the work environment is transformed into a functional event infrastructure without the need for any structural modifications.

Impact
This curated format has become a staple within the community for personal, peer-to-peer exchange. The intimate atmosphere and tangible hospitality bring the core of the Designplus philosophy directly to the floor, making our brand values feel truly accessible in the space.
