Roll-Out

EuroShop 2017, Düsseldorf (202 m²)

How do you explain your own network culture without saying a word?

Idea

A trade fair booth that rotates and constantly tells a new story

For its own trade fair appearance at EuroShop 2017 in Düsseldorf, Designplus developed a booth that makes the agency's open networking culture visible. The result is a circular, rotating stand covering 202 square meters under the motto "Join the Ride!".

Circular bar at the center of the Designplus trade fair stand, matte green walls printed with statements like "together we are strong."

Concept

Six themed rooms, 36 room variations

The exhibition stand consisted of six themed rooms arranged in a circle. A rotating central element constantly reconfigured the connections between these spaces, resulting in 36 unique room combinations, each with its own distinct atmosphere. The text displayed throughout the stand also shifted with every rotation, using short, typographic statements to highlight the diversity of Designplus’s services. For the design, Designplus intentionally opted for minimal materials; matte green chipboard panels directed focus toward the content rather than the surfaces. At the quiet center of the stand was a bar for undisturbed conversations, accessible only with a key that visitors could pick up at the kiosk.

Stacked copies of the Designplus Collaboration Journal "Join the Ride", showing twelve different cover designs.

Realisation

From booth concept to Designplus Collaboration Journal

In keeping with the booth concept, Designplus developed the "Join the Ride" collaboration journal. Individual elements could be freely combined to create twelve different covers, perfectly reflecting the principle of the booth itself. Designplus presented the first issue of the journal at the kiosk, which served as both an information hub and a ticket booth for access to the bar. Inside, Designplus network partners introduced themselves through their own texts and images.

36 room variants, 12 journal covers, one philosophy.

Impact

The rotating exhibition stand and the Collaboration Journal brought Designplus’s open networking culture to life for clients, partners, and employees. At EuroShop 2017, the ever-changing combinations of space, language, and networking demonstrated how Designplus brings creativity and expertise together on equal footing.
