A mountain landscape floats into the display window
How can a genuine winter feeling and an alpine mountain world be staged in a premium department store to create an engaging shopping experience?
Idea
A floating mountain landscape instead of a static winter backdrop
The design breaks with traditional, static winter displays. In the heart of one of Europe's most beautiful department stores, we transformed the largest KaDeWe display window into a vibrant, floating ski and mountain landscape. Because the boundary between pure product presentation and physical space dissolves, the window area becomes a place that you don't just look at, but feel.

Concept
Tactile contrasts with alpine DNA
The design concept is based on the brand's alpine DNA and deliberately focuses on the interplay of tactile contrasts. A snow landscape, exclusively hand-modeled on-site, forms the organic base, while recycled, individually modified gondolas act as kinetic storytellers at the center. A nine-meter-long, sculptural 3D brand logo serves as the visual focal point of the customer journey.

Realisation
From planning to installation in two weeks
The realization followed an interdisciplinary approach and was implemented within a tight two-week deadline. Our team managed the entire value chain – from initial planning and material selection to the final on-site installation. Because conception and execution were closely integrated, the result achieved great design depth despite the tight timeframe.
Display windows as a powerful medium for genuine emotional added value in the high-end segment.
Impact
The winter display demonstrates that high-end window installations can do far more than just showcase products. By intentionally integrating sustainable materials—such as the recycled gondolas—with a sculptural brand presence, the concept ensures BOGNER remains relevant and eye-catching in the urban landscape.
